Lorenzo Chase Chase was born in Concord, NH in 1830 Died March 24, 1918 in San Jose Costa Rica from old age......88 yrs. old.
Had 5 children with 1st wife, Ana Pueblo (Hannah Towne born 1834(possibly in Watertown, MA)-died January 30,1894 in Limon, Costa Rica, there is a strong sense that Hannah is a blood decedent of the Towne sisters of Salem MA who were accused of being witches, in which 2 were hung & 1 had escaped)
Married to Paula Gutierrez Garro July 5, 1900 whom was married to when he died (his 3rd or 4th wife).
Was divorced to Maria Luisa Esquivel in 12/12/1895 due to her having "illicit relations which gravely compromise his dignity and reputation."

We have just discovered this information through an unfolding process through John Goff, a historian friend of Lori Chase's, Lori & Cecilia Maskell whom met via email February 18, 2011 & are distant cousins! If anyone has information regarding Hannah Towne please do share, we are in search of connecting her lineage to the Towne sister's of Salem, MA (in the 1600's) with documentation.

Cecilia Maskell is a great great granddaughter of Eva's(daughter of Lorenzo). Her grandmother is Margaret & her Mom is Gloria. She has a brother Donald Maskell. Both live in the state of Washington near Tacoma.
